Admissions Packet Automation

Admission Packet Automation

Request Demonstration

In a typical system, admission forms are printed at one site and distributed to many areas within the healthcare organization.

Admission personnel may need to determine what needs to be printed, find and load pre-printed paper forms, manually emboss or label forms and then distribute copies.

What if you could reduce the overall cost of your forms, while simultaneously improving quality?

Features

FormFast eliminates the preprinted forms and embossed cards, saving significant money for the organization. Features of this automated workflow include:

All chart forms can be generated from admissions and printed at the appropriate location

No change in process – Admissions personnel enter patient information in the same manner as they currently do and print using the same "print" prompt as they use in their current system

  • Admissions packets with patient data are automatically distributed to multiple printers at the same time

  • The solution can recognize certain triggers and print requisite forms accordingly, such as:

    • Procedure specific Consent and Privacy forms

    • Advanced Beneficiary Notices and other Medicare related forms

    • Alternate language forms

  • Wristbands and labels with patient ID and bar codes can be automatically generated as part of the admission packet by using a dedicated bin on the laser printer or a thermal printer

As part of the print job, completed forms can also be automatically faxed or e-mailed to the admitting physician

Plus FormFast's eSignature solution can be used to make the admissions processes completely paperless.  eSignature by FormFast features direct integration with the EMR and support many electronic signature devices including the Apple iPad.
